This week’s challenge was to make a pinwheel as part of the “Pinwheels for Peace” project. With all the unrest in the world today this is really meaningful. I kept my pinwheel and tangles simple, but it was looking a little boring, so I cut it out and mounted it on a black tile. It seemed to pop a little then. The second tile I did this weekend for the Tangle Patterns string #17.
This week’s challenge was to “break free” and create a tile free of constraints. So much fun! Here are my two contributions. In the first tile my string swung back and forth accross the tile. With no plan in place I just drew, and was happy with the outcome, especially after adding a little color. In the second my string went all over the tile, not stopping when coming to an edge. With my string in place I filled my tile, and when I was finished I liked what I saw. This was really a fun challenge. Getting to do whatever you want is always fun! Thanks Laura!!
This week’s challenge is to use the tangle Copada by CZT Margaret Bremner. I finished mine last night. Now that I’ve posted it, I’m looking forward to spending the rest of this afternoon checking out the other postings! I always get so inspired. I love the Zentangle community. A big thanks to Laura, for giving us a place to share our work.
