Weekly Challenge #131: “Monotangle – Dex-teria”

This week the Diva challenge was to use the tangle Dex. I think I’ve only used it once before, and I tried to think how I would use it as a monotangle. I remembered looking at the zendala that Maria posted on the zentangle site. She traced the outlines of several squares onto a zendala tile and tangled them. I liked the effect, so I thought I would do the reverse and traced some circles onto a square tile. I tangled Dex in each of the circles, and then added some color for contrast.

  1. Interesting how you did this. So simple and yet so great solution to make a monotangle by just adding different colors in the depth. Great, why didn’t I think of that. I had a hard time to make it look like something in a monotangle.
