Laura’s Diva Challenge for this week is to use the new tangle Aquafleur. I’m using the tan tiles, and I’m not sure I like the way they absorb the ink. I used a white charcoal pencil to add highlights. To everyone that’s being affected by this bitter cold weather, try and stay warm. To all our Southern tanglers who are expecting significant snow storms tomorrow, stay safe. Playing in the snow is fun, driving in it not so much. Stay indoors if you can until the roads are cleared. Sending warm thoughts your way from the Northeast!
It’s been a busy last two weeks and I’m just now posting my contributions to both last week’s and this week’s challenges. The word I chose for this year is ACT…acting on the things I keep putting off. This week’s challenge is to promote awareness of Moebeus Syndrome, a rare syndrome affecting cranial nerves limiting facial movements, which affects the Diva’s youngest son. For more information on Moebeus Syndrome visit The Diva’s blog, there’s a link here on my home page. Purple is the color used to represent Moebeus Syndrome. I added the blue and green in the background because it is feels cheerful and upbeat, and that’s how I see Laura’s whole family.
Happy New Year to everyone!! I’ve missed doing the challenges the last couple of weeks. I’m excited to begin a new year with all of you. I hope you’re all keeping warm. It’s in the single digits here in upstate NY and I’m already looking forward to Spring! Here is my contribution to this week’s Diva Challenge.
