This week’s challenge is to use spirals, not something I usually do because I can never seem to get them right. So it was a challenge, but not as difficult as I thought it would be. I just slowed down and it worked, not perfect but I like it. I never would have thought about using Birds on a Wire in a spiral, it just happened. That’s what I like about Zentangle. It’s always a surprise!

Weekly Challenge #159: “Top O’ the Morning”
In honor of my Irish roots, I did this tile over the weekend so I was all set for today’s challenge. Not often that I have a tile already done before the challenge even begins :)
Also, I want to acknowledge a special email I got this week. Sending best wishes to Maria from Argentina for a wonderful visit here in the United States!
Weekly Challenge #158: “Duotangle: Diva Dance + Crescent Moon”
This week’s Diva’s challenge is a duo tangle….Crescent Moon and Diva Dance. I haven’t done Diva Dance in a while. I did a tile last night and kept thinking “this doesn’t look right”. I decided to take a look at the step outs and it didn’t look right because I wasn’t doing it right! Sometimes we need to refresh our memory! So I took a break and did another tile today and I’m much happier with it.
Weekly Challenge #157: “UMT – Charlie”
This week’s Diva Challenge is to use Erin Olson’s tangle Charlie. Some days tangles just flow, but not tonight. I wasn’t really pleased with the outcome. Also there are some tinges of green on the tile that make it look like it’s dirty. Oh well, it is what it is. I just need to let it go.
On the other hand, I am happy with this tile I did while watching the Academy Awards on Sunday.
